I am still enjoying the third book in the series but frankly, one thing really irritated me in this one. 😒 I didn’t like the fact that there was a repetitive plot in this novel as in second one. The story was nicely written and it’s a good read but I really didn’t want to read spaceship explosion scene twice in the series. 🙂 Aside from that, this was a fantastic read and there are some unexpected twists in the characters of MCs too. 😊 So our second Tyger prince, one of the twins, [...]
Shannon West was on top of her game for this one, my own inner tiger was roaring in delight and well sated, it was that tasty that I devoured it in one sitting, the whole book worked for me on so many levels, I lost count. The war is over, the Axis Army claimed victory over the Alliance which is something Lycan General Renard Dmitru, finds hard to swallow, the Tygerian's will always be a thorn in his side, he really resents them, nearly as much as his family’s “mating” curse. Of course, wit [...]
Notes :- I really loved the world building. - Arranged marriage plot. Love it!- Alpha male! and come on, this is Shannon West. Of course there would be scorching UST and hot sex scenes. Fu*k yeah. - This book reminds me of old harlequin I used to read back then. *chuckles*- Okay, I did not expect to become that way. It was like I'm in Wayward Pines all of sudden. It's not a bad thing. Maybe Ms. West decided to cross the line. Finally. - I'm a bit sad I did not see any mpreg in here. :(Do not rea [...]
Fantastic bookShannon West was already one of my must-buy authors, and this book certainly lived up to my expectations. Renard and Anarr were both delightfully strong-willed and seeing them butt heads in coming up with a way to compromise was great. Added to that, I loved watching the conflict between Blake and Renard as each tried to prove that he knew what was best for Anarr. Blake has been one of my favorite spring characters throughout this series! I was also completely surprised by the twis [...]
Love this world and have from the very first book.
4.25 Stars ~ It's always exciting to be back in the world that Shannon West created with her 'Mate of the Tygerian Prince' series. I was particularly looking forward to this third installment as it focuses on one of Mikos's younger brothers, Anarr, and a Lycan general. The Lycanus and the Tygerians have been enemies for a long time, well before the Alliance and Axis were created and the war was fought. Now that the treaty is in effect and the war is over, Renard Dmitri has taken the position as [...]
I was trying to read it slowly so it wouldn't endMore Please!!!!!!
Other than Renard (the dude on the cover) is hot, this story had tons of angst! I missed the Mpreg, but I'll live. I like this series! Happy reading!!!
Following Lorraine's recommendation, I gave this book a try. Mainly because I was missing Blake and probably because I wanted to read more from that character While I won't give the book a perfect score like she did ( sorry my dear !), I did enjoyed it more than the first book of the series which I gave a 2 out of 5 stars. Storywise it was an easy read despite the tragic plot related to war and its cruelty. I struggled at how the author had wrap the story though. And that twist at the end was mo [...]
Rating: 3 stars. I think what prevents me from giving this book a higher rating is the two MCs. The fighting between Prince Anarr and General Renard just got on my nerves throughout the book. I enjoyed the story though and for once I didn't figure out the villain right away. However, one of the main components of a story is the likability of the two MCs and they just weren't that likable. One character I really did like was Redmond and some of the story is told from his perspective. I would love [...]
2016 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Risking the Wild Places by Shannon WestI think I want to read the other books in the series… Book 1: Mate of the Tyger Prince and book 2: Dark Side.
I am wishing that there is a fourth book in this exciting series.
Excellent continuation of the series!!
