"Your relationship with God is your most powerful weapon." Faithing It by Cora Jakes Coleman is one of those books that is more than just about your "purpose", but more about who you are in Christ and how you are to walk out that life. I love how she talks about having confidence in the relationship you have with God and if you're in a dysfunctional relationship, let it go. She says not to push a relationship that God does not orchestrate, which I think we is so easy for many of us to do. We fin [...]

I am so glad I found this. I needed to read what Cora Jakes-Coleman wrote in these pages. I loved how she shared her story of not being able to have her own children, what it was like for her and how she rose above the emotional bondage any tragedy can hold us in if we do not fight with faith. I read this on my Kindle but I know I need to have this physical book in my library. This is one to go back to when you need a reminder that God is right there and its all going to work out just the way He [...]

Much neededI actually began this book sometime ago. My heart and spirit were not ready to receive its message at that time. I am glad that God is sovereign and brought me back to it. The book is both inspirational and informative. I had to really look within myself and acknowledge that my faith has become miniscule. I am not talking mustard seed faith but a faith that became consumed by doubt and worry as I repeatedly took everything back into my own hands instead of relying upon God to be God.

Liked Cora's style of writing, was written as if she was speaking to you personally. Dealt with some difficult issues and how to keep your faith through them. Very encouraging read.

Awesome Testimony of Faith I downloaded this book months ago, but was led by the spirit to read it on yesterday as I was searching for a word to hold on to my faith. Thank you for blessing me and the encouraging words reminding me the purpose of my tests and trials. I feel it in my spirit that God wants to move me to my next assignment, but I'm struggling with the process. Then I read your words: "The hardest part about the process is that you have to believe God, and you have to hold God's hand [...]

Having been a pastor's kid myself , I was excited to read this book. I know how hard it can be to always be watched with people just waiting for you to make a mistake as a pastor's kid. It seems that people expect us to be perfect but we are all the same. We mess up, we stumble but we dust ourselves off and continue our journey. Faithing It "means that in order to get through our problems and bypass our circumstances , we must fight with faith - and without a faith fight there cannot be a win." [...]

This book is written from the heart. Through Scripture and experience, the author helps the reader to guide their destiny with God. Each chapter is honest and full of examples. Each chapter also ends in a prayer. It is a book to be savored and reread frequently.I received the book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion

Never give upI enjoyed this book for the message to not give up on praying for and believing in your dreams, no matter how far away they seem from your present reality. We can all use a reminder that we are created for great things, and the greater our destiny, the greater the challenges will be along the way.

My opinionI felt this book was very hard to follow. The author repeats what she is trying to say over and over just in different ways. Sometimes it felt like you were wrong for not praying the way she does.

Let go and have faithHaving Faith is a hard thing to do. I start reading this book and realize I didn't trust God like I said. I want to have control over every. I learn if I just step out of the way I could have more than what I thought I could have.
