3.5 I really liked the first part but then it kind of stopped being interesting.Ah well, still a really good book for 120 pages, it's to be appreciated. It's one of the few good ones out there, so it's worth giving it a try.
The best one so far. :)
4 stars!Thankfully, I enjoyed this much more than the previous book. It still had a lot of relationship angst in the first half, which I didn't like, but that seems to be part of this author's style. Her stories are very character-driven and therefore involve a lot of interpersonal struggles (at least in this series). Honestly, it is not my favorite romance format. I tend to prefer when the issues come from outside forces and the couple faces them together. Also, part of what I love about shifte [...]
A BEAUTIFUL "EVER" EVER AFTER FOR BRIGHTON !!!Title: Sawman WerebearSeries: Saw BearsAuthor: T.S. JoyceDesignation: Book Four of Series, Standalone Novella, NO CliffhangerMy Rating: Five Delightfully Entertaining Stars*****Wow! What an incredible story! I love it! Sawman Werebear is the fourth book in the Saw Bears series by T. S. Joyce and it totally ROCKS! It is a standalone novella with no cliffhanger but if you're anything like me, once Joyce starts a series, you just can't stop until you've [...]
this book wasn't like any other books I have read. As always a pure joy to read, easy with an HEA, sure with some magic around those characters but always with that warm and loving from the crew. the difference I got was the settlement, even with all the surrounding, the outcome/the process were all about calming not like the grizzly bears were like TNT ready to explode.Every steps were calm and collected. And I really loved the animal interactions in this book, it was really sweet and a bit pla [...]
Another sweet addition to an already irresistible series. I adore the characters and the easy flowing plots this writer achieves. I also love how this writer makes her books available through kindleunlimited. I'llfinitely read anything else she publishes.
I loved this book. I could not wait to read Brighton's story and get a fuller picture of what he and Denison went through at the hands of IESA. We see in the Firebear books the organization turning the shifters into weapons, but with Brighton (and a little with Dension) we start to see the experimentation on the shifters. Seeing what Brighton went through and how he confronts it and is able to move past it in this story, with the help of his bond mate, was a delight to read. Everly is such a lov [...]
Love this book! I hadn't read the other books, but I didn't feel like I missed anything. I do want to go back and read the other books in this series.I will say that I love that a lot of T. S. Joyce, bear series are all connected! I will be reading more of her bear books!
AwesomeThis book was sweet and I really enjoyed it. Both characters were amazing together and had so many issues to get past but they did it together to get their own happy ending
Reviewed at Shifter HavenBrighton’s story begins with heartbreak. When he and his twin brother, Denison were teens they had been abducted from the safety of their home and taken to a facility – a research facility where unbearable things were done to them both. They survived, they escaped and exacted revenge on several key players on their way out of that hellhole. But one man, the head man escaped their wrath back then. But now Reynolds is dead by Brighton’s hand after Reynolds had threat [...]
Overall Rating: 4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★From the beginning author, T. S. Joyce has captured the interest of her readers with the remarkable Saw Bears series. She continues to weave her snare of ‘bearness’ with Brighton and Everly's story in Sawman Werebear. This is her fourth book in this series and I'm ecstatic to let you know that this is an amazing book from start to finish. I have been anxiously waiting to read this one, because what's not to love about Brighton?! He's a tormented, to [...]
Okay, this one had me in tears. To learn what Brighton had lived through and what was done to Everly really tugged at my heartstrings. I loved how they saved each other.
This is the forth book in this series and these books are better if read in order. This book is by far the most emotional. Brighton is Denison’s twin from book 3. You learn in book three that Brighton and Denison were tortured in book 3. Denison doesn’t remember most of what happened but Brighton remembers every moment of his torture. His bear has always been a little wilder but after being tortured his bear is worse. And now it’s even worse after killing the man who had tortured them. It [...]
Wow this book was everything. We have two broken characters in Brighton and Ever. Brightons past was heartbreaking. He and his twin were used as an experiment, but tortured during this time too. That is why he can not talk, but he whispers for Ever. Ever's story is heart breaking too. She was turned and didn't even know. Her bear is slowly breaking her and she doesn't even understand she is a bear yet. These two characters have crossed paths before. They both were drawn to one another, but both [...]
Everlyn is the key to saving Brighton from his Demons, and Brighton is the key to saving her from herself. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that at the start Everlyn approaches Brighton and he dismisses her, until she has a seizure and he helps her. Although she has been sickly over the past six months the start of the book makes out as if he doesn't know her at all. Then it very quickly jumps to him making a proclamation that: Connor claimed the women he wanted just because he wa [...]
Brighton Beck’s inner grizzly is out of control. Several months ago he killed his tormentor, but just seeing the man who did all of this to him sent his bear on a bender. One day while waiting for his Alpha a shy and timid woman approaches him but she is a human, but not everything is as it seems. Now it’s up to Brighton, and his broken bear, to find out who Turned her. Everly Moore has more problems than anyone or she thinks, but for the love of God she can't figure out what is wrong with h [...]
This book took my crazy shifter loving heart on a roller coaster ride! For me, this is the best book in the 7 book series. hands down! The characters are so broken and flawed. Their journey to heal each other made me tear up. All the feels with this read NEXT!Review for book 1 here: Lumberjack WerebearReview for book 2 here: Woodcutter WerebearReview for book 3 here: Timberman WerebearRating Legend:5 star-loved it4 star-liked it3 star-it was okay2 star-didn't like it1 star-hated it
QuickShot ReviewGeneral Thoughts on Series (books 1-5)Just the right kind of alphas who love and protect, women who are down but not out and step up with the moment comes, I think this ‘verse has some good characters. The worldbuilding could be stronger, but it has been expanding as the series goes on so I have hope. Good shifter fun.
4.5 bright starsI was so excited to finally get Brighton's story. I wanted to learn everything about this silent and troubled werebear.Everly is dealing with trouble of her own and was really lucky to run into Brighton. He was able to recognize the problem and help her through it.Wonderful addition to a great series.
Loved it!I loved Brighton and Everly. Brighton is a bear shifter that is not able to talk due to been subjected to clinical experimentation by humans. Everly is a human turned bear shifter against her will. Actually, when Brighton meet her she didn't even know she had been turned 6 months prior. And that is the beginning of a tender love affair. Highly recommend it
OmgUgh I loved reading Everly’s story along with Brightens!! I was sad to finally hear his story, but it was needed to fill in the missing pieces. And I can’t wait to meet Brook’s cub!!!
Get a tissue!Another great one from T.S. Joyce. This one had more trauma caused issues for H and h than previous books in the series, and there were some tear jerker parts (so be prepared). While both damaged in the beginning the H and h find their way to a HEA.
Sawman WerebearI liked it, but not as much as I did the previous ones. I guess I had gotten used to plots that weren't focused entirely on the emotional stability of the couple. It was still a good read.
Brighton & EverlyBrighton Beck maybe a quiet bear but he's definitely not weak much like his twin Denison (book 3). Everly Moore I totally just want to hug. What a painful yet amazing journey these two have faced!
Great romanceOf this series, this story is almost pure romance between two people/shifters who have suffered at the hands of others. Great characters with heart and courage. Well done.
Emotional. That was an emotional one but so good. Brighton and Denison are my favorite. Everything they went through. Wow. Everly was great also. Good book.
I didn't not not like it it was pretty good but I hope they aren't all carbon copies of each other.
Sawman WerebearGave it a five star rating. Loved the story. Can't wait to read the next book in the series to find out what happens next.
Sweet!Albino bear? I wonder if there is really such a thing? How cool! I do wonder why he didn't talk to his brother though before?
This was the best one in this series by far and the other were still good reads. lol
